This is a blog to demonstrate that most models in the industry of fashion aren't as beautiful as they look. Photoshop is overused and creates an idea of a "perfect beauty" which doesn't exist. Even the smallest details in models photo shoots are photoshopped. This creates fake ideas of what beauty is and wrong standards of sizes and "imperfections".
Notice how the original picture was photoshopped so they kept the curves of the model, but make her thighs and belly look thinner. If you look closely you can see how the arms are also thinner and how the skin glows more. This creates standards of the correct sizes with "perfect curves".
Also in this picture it can be seemed how they make the model's eyes look bigger and the around the pupil look whiter and her hair brighter. Also the shape of her lips are slightly retouched and eyebrows. Her freckles are gone and also her wrinkles in the throat. Why photoshop freckles? because the standards make them look bad.
